Late cancellation and no-show penalties
What happens if you cancel too late or don't turn up, and how any penalty is applied.
If you cancel after the window closes, or don't turn up at all, it's recorded as a late cancellation or a no-show. This explains what that means in practice.
The two situations
Late cancellation
You cancelled, but after the free window had closed. The spot may be too late for anyone on the waitlist to take.
No-show
You were booked, you did not cancel, and you did not check in. We allow a short grace period after the class starts before it is marked this way — walking in a few minutes late will not catch you out.
What actually happens
First, the class counts as used. A credit is not returned to your pack, and a class on your plan's allowance is spent as if you'd attended.
Beyond that, it depends on what we've set up. Some studios apply nothing at all. Some allow a number of slips before anything happens. Some charge a small fee. Whatever applies at Ignite and Unwind Pilates, the app tells you before you cancel — you'll never be surprised after the fact.
